Halloween!

We went to an organic farm this past weekend to pick up a pumpkin to carve for the first ever time. It was very enjoyable to see the fresh vegetables and fruits and to just appreciate the feeling of walking unencumbered on open farm land. Living off the earth and taking what you need without ripping out its essence...sounds almost utopian these days!! Organic concepts of farming are especially relevant in this age of synthetic and unnatural additives to everything from baby food to the milk in our tea. It's scary to imagine how far we've pushed our natural environment to extinction...especially when I get to read something like this:
